NYE with Neue Blvd
The festive season is well and truly upon us, and one thing I love to do each year is host one of the main celebrations. I love to set the table, spoil and celebrate with our friends or family.
Last week Kylie and I got the @StyleSocial_ team together to put on a day full of incredible homewares, decor and food to give you a little inspo of what’s possible, and how easily it can be done.
For all table styling these are my tips:
Theming and Colour: Choose a theme or colour and run with it. (Ideas and inspo post to come)
Flowers: As lame as it sounds, flowers will bring your table from DRAB to FAB. Go with the flowers.
Add height to your table: Use cake stands, vases, rises, and anything that can add a bit of height to your table. Remember not to go too crazy, you may want to talk to the person sitting across from you.
Gifts VS Place Settings: Take you pick, you can use anything as a place setting you like. Try Christmas tree decorations with a little name tag, chocolates, Or small affordable nick nacks that match your theme.
Preparation is key: Do as much as you can before you guests arrive. Pre make cocktails/drinks. Have as much of your food prep completed as possible, and stay on top of the mess.
I hope a few of these tips help you plan your next event. check back next week for more Christmas table inspiration.
